Every once in a while, a very special dog comes along...one that refuses to be mediocre in anything he does...CRAIGHORN SPUD was one of those rare dogs. From the moment he became part of the Double TT family at twenty-four months, he set out to make a name for himself. Whether in the hunting fields where he mastered, romancing the ladies or just kickin' back being the friendly guy he was, Spud put his whole heart in it.

A very special thanks to the trainers that helped bring out Spud's superior strengths.

Spud became the first British Lab to receive UKC Championship 500 Point Club status under the steady hands of Steve Vires (and convincing Steve to become a British Lab fan!) He also received his first two Master passes under Steve's tutorilege.

Under Rick McConaco's leadership, Spud received his Senior AKC and his first three master hunt passes in the summer of 2004.

After Haynes moved from Mississippi to Kansas in 2005, Spud stayed behind to travel to North Dakota with Clint and Shana Johnson to finally receive his well-deserved AKC Masters.

Spud not only excelled in whatever he did, but he passed his dominant traits of strength and courage, a fearless, competitive spirit and great sense of humor on to little Spuds and Spudesses all over this land. Double TT British Kennels has a few breedings left of this wonderful dog, so we haven't seen the last of his greatness.

Spud, we miss you so much and we thank you for all you've done for lovers of fine British Labradors! Go in peace, our friend.
